Republican State House Member Charged With DUI

UPDATE: Kip Smith co-sponsored HB 464, which is one of the many bills that would require drug testing for public assistance.

UPDATE for fairness: As was a pointed out by a friend of mine of Facebook, we should note that he is innocent until proven guilty

Maybe Scott Holcomb’s bill to drug test legislators is not such a bad idea. It appears some of them drink a bit to much. Not only did he get charged with a DUI, the report indicates that he also lied to police officers and made sure to mention that he was a State Representative:

Bet this happens more than we even want to know! they all believe they're above the law!
I hope the judge socks it to him, but he/she probably won't. He's got enough money to get out of it.
