OAKLAND, Calif. - Police used tear gas and "flash" grenades to break up hundreds of Occupy protesters in Oakland, Calif., after officers say some demonstrators threw rocks and flares at them, tore down fences and ignored orders to leave.
Police say three officers were injured and 19 people were arrested.
Oakland police said in a release that the crowd started assembling downtown Saturday morning and then marched through the streets, disrupting traffic.

This will escalate just as Soros and Americans have predicted. But the government already has it's resources in place. Let's not forget the choppers in the skies over LA on the 25th and 26th. And don't forget the Fema Camps that were recently readied for use. Europe's financial crisis (which WILL affect us greatly, too) is teetering on collapse. 8 million Americans are, or will be, facing forclosure. EIGHT MILLION! Those are just the ones in foreclosure. There are millions more barely hanging on....Wall Street is, again, rolling in the cash. Back in small town America, businesses are closing and entire streets are being boarded up. THAT'S what these "commies" are up in arms (well, not yet, but give it a moment) about. Middle class America is being choked to death --taxes, price increases, new fees, surcharges, restrictions on freedom (in unheard of and unimagined breadth), while corporate CEO's and bankers are raking in $15,000 - $40,000 PER HOUR! Its about time the citizens started getting angry.
It's all calculated and will escalate and peak just at a time when Obama will call for martial law and halt all elections.

Imclain is absolutely right. Don't be sidetracked by what the MSM tells us. The information coming from them is being taylored to keep the masses quiet. The tea party and the occupy movement want accountability. Our government will fight to the death to avoid accountability. The MSM intentionally interviews radicals on the fringes at these protests in order to keep the masses fighting amongst themselves. The LAPD and the military were engaged in joint FTX's in an American urban environment. If things turn bad they will know just where to drop those necessary to quell the protests that they will determine are out of control. 3D satellite imagery can give them the information to use what they learn in LA in any city in the nation. Ask yourself this. When does our military train with law enforcement? When they are about to be used together in that environment. Yes Imclain, I'm afraid your assessment is more accurate than many choose to believe. Yet everyday more and more open their eyes. Just to be clear, the U.S. government has been waging a propaganda war against it's citizens for more than 100 years. Recently it's really been heating up. The internet and other technology has been invaluable to the dissemination of information to "we the people". And now the efforts are underway to control that. Remember this. High tech devices such as cell phones used by the "terrorists" in Afghanistan were used by our military to target them using drones. They were reduced to using simple handheld portable two way radios to remain invisible to this technology. We will be forced to take similar steps to get the information out to others as well once the internet is totally controlled. They have already blacked out twitter on several occasions to interrupt the flow of information between occupiers in LA and Oakland.
I would sue them because there is nothing against protesting it is in the bill of right that we can protest because it is the freedom of speech until the protesters start torching or damage/destroy others property so what the police are doing is illegal as it goes against there rights and if they say it is treason then say prove it then they make up lies I wonder were bullying came from because I sure it wasn't kids who started bully but adults and the kids followed as they were younger as they followed what the adults did.

Not to be a spell check nazi but when (I assume) adults cannot spell simple words, such as tailored, and cannot use proper punctuation and spacing of sentences, not only does it make you look uneducated, but it makes it harder for someone else to understand whatever message it is you are trying to send.
