You wouldn't feed your kids Twinkies for breakfast (right?), so the news that some cereals aimed at kids have more sugar than those processed yellow bits of foam food is a bit disturbing. As Americans get more obese by the day, a new study warns of the sugary punch packed in many cereals.

Back in the day, kids had "Sugar Frosted Flakes", "Sugar Smacks",and other aptly named cereals for breakfast and SOMEHOW didn't get so fat they couldn't run if they were on fire. It AIN'T the food. Its X-Box, TV, fat ace parents stuffing their fat ace kids with snacks so they don't have to talk to them or interact. It's letting your already fat kid eat TWO large fries and super size his chocolate shake. Its letting your fat kid sleep until 10 am and letting him/her sit in the house all day on the computer/vidoe game/cell phone. Don't blame the food. Blame your lazy, fat, overeating, indulgent lifestyle. And here's another clue -- it AIN'T your "hormones", its the elbow allowing you to stuff your face full of the same food we ate 30-50 years ago. The difference being we worked and played outside then...and our parents frowned upon gluttony. Now, its a virtue.
