That is a shame, I like Sears for appliances and Craftsman tools. K-mart, I can't remember the last time I shopped at K-mart. They used to have a big beautiful new store and Cambridge that did no business and eventually closed. The one here in Salisbury looks crappy and they have never done anything to improve the store.

I read something last year that said Sears and Lowes were stores that might not make through 2012.

I get why they are closing the k-marts...I am a Walmart shopper, but on Dec 23 the parking at the North Walmart was in the Wendys parking lot and I only needed a few things. So, off to K-mart I went. Have not been there in forever and now I know why...You can barely get one cart down any given isle, the crap that is piled in the center of EVERY isle is non-sense, and two days until Christmas and they only had ONE, yep I said it, ONLY ONE check out open (little old lady, bless her heart) I mean, someone needs to fire the manager (whether its district or store manager) because it was HORRIBLE. Well, there won't be to many more on the unemployment line cause nobody works there!!! Thanks for letting me rant!

The all in one department stores are a thing of the past. When mongomery wards closed at the Salisbury mall, it was a signal that sears would follow. It's just a matter of time.
