In the Oregon case the Federal judge - Marco Hernandez has gone way beyond his scope of authority in that he has re-written the 1st Amendment - Freedom of Press. In fact, I would go so far as to say that he himself has opened up a case against himself - for his attempt to circumvent our US Constitution.
This case is perfectly set-up to be challenged on appeal - and that is exactly what I predict will happen.
Publisher's Notes: I find it ironic that the Daily Times would publish such information, almost as if they were sending a warning shot over the bow. The hilarious part about the article is the fact that I have personally been challenged three times referencing this matter and they never once sited my victory all three times.
Am I supposed to get so scared I'll just stop blogging? Then they interview Jonathan Taylor in which he says he always consults an attorney before he published anything. YOUR TAX DOLLARS HARD AT WORK FOLKS. The man doesn't even have a job and lives off of disability and entitlements from YOU the taxpayers, yet he can afford an attorney before he published articles.
The Daily Times is publishing CRAP any more. Fear messages that are supposed to create an image, they must be stopped or challenged. Well, I say, bring it on. They had to go to a case in OREGON? Yet they already had case law from Tilghman vs. Albero, right here on the Eastern Shore?
Anything to discredit Salisbury News as we continue to grow, AND THEY KNOW IT TO BE A FACT. Don't you think for a second that the Daily Times isn't completely aware of how fast we continue to grow and how they are quickly falling apart.

I think the story was talking about that the man was not a public figure thats why they lost the case
This is just my opinion but any more it seems like the Daily Times is a closed club of information. If you aren't a facebook user, you can't comment. They only interview people they like and want to promote. That's how it seems to me anyway.
Some people are threatened to no end by competition.To some,a difference of opinion means a fight.When the dt refers to this site as a gossip column they prove their insignificance.

With all the misinformation they manufacture they should be considered a blog journal on paper and online.
I love how they interview Taylor who publishes some of the most vile things a blog has ever seen. If he really consulted a lawyer nothing would be on his blog. I can't believe anyone pays money to read that paper.
The Daily Times has lost so many good reporters and personel - that I have lost count.
Their staff is heavily laced with special interest that is connected to the 'good old boys network'.
Any reader - 'worth their salt' knows full well that The Daily Times dissemination of information is biased.
On the otherhand - SBYnews is more fair and balanced.
The Daily Times is worthless and has proven so by printing articles from their whacked out contributors such as old senile liberal school teachers and professors.

I would no longer classify The Daily Times as MSM. That is a thing of the past.
They are now classified as a Tabloid. Just look at the size of their new paper.

Move on Joe. Daily Times has not been relevant for some time now.
The thrashing around they are doing is what is known as death throes. They are trying everything under the sun to try and stay afloat.
If it wasn't part of a syndicate it would have vanished a long time ago. The profits from other publications keep them going.
They need to become a weekly newspaper. Than maybe what they put out would be timely.
