Judge Mary Scriven ruled in response to a lawsuit filed on behalf of a 35-year-old Navy veteran and single father who sought the benefits while finishing his college degree, but refused to take the test. The judge said there was a good chance plaintiff Luis Lebron would succeed in his challenge to the law based on the Fourth Amendment, which protects individuals from being unfairly searched.

How so? Almost any job applicant is now required to pass a drug test...whats the difference?
I agree with 9:25. Also it says UNREASONABLE? Everyone knows that people laid up at home collecting welfare are either on drugs or selling them. I am not saying all! But when someone on welfare and living in the projects has a brand new 2011 Dodge Charger with 20 in chrome rims on it, there is a problem. That is the truth.
The TSA will strip search you if you make a smart comment to them. The police can pull you over for speeding and take all the data from your cell phone, like the two are related. The police will strip search your teenage daughter (a couple of times!) for protesting. The Patriot Act says the police can search (AND seize!) your person and property without warrant or notice. All of which are heartily cheered by millions of Americans. Stupid Americans. This must be the last judge in America that still reads the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What part of "unreasonable search" don't most people understand? QUIT cheering and clapping every time the government violates the Constitution (no matter how well intended YOU may THINK it is.....you could (and sooner or later WILL) be next. It doesn''t matter whether or not you are "doing anything wrong"? And the government doesn't care how "good" a citizen you think you are, or WANT them to think you are....once you surrender those rights, they AIN'T giving them back. How many times in history does it have to happen before you guys wake up? Answer? At least one more time, apparently.
As a current resident of FL i think this rule is the greatest way to save tax payers money. I have to take a drug test to get a job why shouldn't people have to take one to get tax dollars I have to pay into the system because I have a job?
This is ridiculous! Now, THIS is a good reason for an uprising!
Problem is, we have JOBS that we have to report to every day!
