The neo-cons convinced our dullard president that he could go down in history as the man that spread Democracy across the Middle East. Well, we experienced a few glitches on the path to democracy. Maybe they should have concentrated on introducing democracy into our own corporate fascist country.
The law of unintended consequences has turned Mission Accomplished into Mission Impossible. Here is what the neo-cons have wrought:
- 5,000 dead Americans and another 50,000 wounded
- A total cost that will exceed $4 trillion – all borrowed
- Destruction of families around the country as National Guard troops deployed multiple times
- Over 100,000 Iraqis killed
- No WMD found
- No oil for the US
- More terrorists today than there were on 9/10/01
- Infrastructure of Iraq is still a shambles with limited electricity and oil production
- Unemployment exceeding 40% in Iraq
- Iran is now calling the shots in Iraq
Perry, Bachmann, Palin and Romney are itching for a fight with Iran. As the economy continues downward between now and the election, even Obama will be looking for a way to rally the masses behind him.
The neo-con wet dream of war with Iran grows ever closer. At least we have God on our side.

The only mistake we have made is that we should have done the following:
1. went into Iraq and won the war by brute force , what ever it took.
2. Continued into Iran with the same goal.
3. Any other nation in the area with the same goal.
When one goes to war , the goal is to win , not win a popularity contest.
We have shown our weaknesses and the terrorist have taken advantage of it.
As we go down hill during this adminstration , we shall find out how important it was to win.
We now have a land of illegals and minorities that think this is a land of milk and honey , work is not essential.
We are almost there guys , feel sorry for the ones without proper equipment.
Yes, 1:22, just go in and conquer whatever nation we want and kill everyone who disagrees with us. Worked out well for the Roman Empire, didn't it?
Of course, you leave out the reason why you think we should have invaded Iraq, Iran, and whomever else.
so it was ALL bushes economic fault that caused our financial system? wake up moron, no it wasnt. it was Congress, both houses (both democrats in 06, senate democrat in 04) and FEDERAL RESERVE. bill clinton and the AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT alongside barney frank. get your history straight article writer.

You know nothing of the Roman empire , if so ,you wouldn't have made that foolish comment.
This country will fail , it is well on its way , we have reached the point of no return.
Sad but true 1:47 then 1:22 won't have the freedom to make such stupid statements will he!
He is obviously a pink pantied lib!
Actually 1:53, multiple reports have been put out that say AHA had a minimal impact on the housing bubble and subsequent recession. This recession and our current mess can be blamed on both sides of the aisle.
