The first leg of the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run will kick off Monday Morning 6/6/11 at 8:30 am. The run will begin on the Boardwalk at 27th Street in Ocean City and continue to the Boardwalk Arch at North Division Street. Please arrive by 8:00 am for pictures and announcements.
Anyone that is available is encouraged to come out and show their support. This run kicks off the Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games which are held in Towson, MD. You do not need to be Law Enforcement to show your support.
T-shirts are available for sale for $10. If you are interested in buying a t-shirt please contact OCPD Officers Lt. Richard Currence, Cpl. Dennis Eade, Cpl. Andrew Yeager, PFC Jim Runkles, or Ofc. J.P. Zurla. T-shirts will also be available on the morning of the run at 27th Street.
