This is really sad. Lord, please be with these families.

Joe, got a request. The Bayside baseball teams swept the Maryland State Chamionships yesterday. Can you run an article about these boys and the great accomplishment they obtained? St. Michaels won the 1A, North Caroline won the 2A and Bennett won the 3A. Bennett had an undefeated season too. Thanks!!

Thoughts and prayers go out to this family. It's that time of year again and sadly, this won't be the last post like this. At least this young man followed one important rule. He did not go alone. Parents, please urge your children to never go alone. Even if the whole group are excellent swimmers, they should also carry some sort of inflation device such as a tube or mini surf board WITH a rope attached to it. So many times, friends helplessly watch someone come up a few times only to lose them moments later. No, a floatation divice is not the BEST idea but if something can be thrown towards the victim, or can even help another save their own strength getting to them, it could make a difference.
Again, prayers for this family.
