Employers in the state cut 5,900 jobs in March, but nearly 12,000 more Marylanders were working, dropping the unemployment rate below 7 percent for the first time in two years, the federal government estimated Tuesday.

Just re-entered the work force after loosing job b/c of Obama-nomics said...: Like me we are holding two jobs b/c of economics, gas prices,utlity costs, food costs, and the non-sense you have to go thru when you loose your job and try to get unemployement for a brief time until you get another job. Most of us now are working two jobs that pay little just to make ends meet. I have aquired three College Degrees in my life time and there is nothing out there.; April 21, 2011 at 8:53 AM
