At a Friday fundraiser in Philadelphia, Vice President Joe Biden said that Republicans are employing a “blame the victim” strategy in addressing falling government revenue by cutting taxes and reducing spending.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Biden compared Republicans’ economic policies to insensitivity toward rape victims. “When a woman got raped, blame her because she was wearing a skirt too short,” Biden said, drawing a parallel.
“We’ve gotten by that,” Biden continued. “It’s amazing how these Republicans, the right wing of this party – whose philosophy threw us into this god-awful hole we’re in, gave us the tremendous deficit we’ve inherited – that they’re now using . . . the very economic condition they have created to blame the victim, whether it’s organized labor or ordinary middle-class working men and women. It’s bizarre.”

Was it not the DemocRATS in charge of Congress when the Fincial problems really started to get drasticly out of hand or did I miss something. The DemocRATS not the Republicans, Independents, Green Party or whoever else the DemocRATS want to blame were in charge. If the DemocRATS did nothing why do they want credit for policies opposed by the majority of the Public and spend money for these things. So how do you not spend money but you bully bills through that cost money? They can't have it both ways.
I heard Obama will no longer invite billionaire Warren Buffett to the White House, because Biden keeps asking him to sing Margaritaville!

Biden is bizarre.
The thought of him becoming president in the event of something happening to the O-man is, like, really scary.
Maybe that's why O-man picked him.
It helps keep him safe. :-)
What's even scarier....the guy's from the Eastern Shore. Or maybe that's the reason he's scary. He's actually one of us!
