Did you know it is illegal for doctors to collectively bargain? This is so because the law makers believe the services doctors provide are too important to be exploited by the maneuvers of UNIONS.
Many, including myself, believe the education of our children is just as important as medical care. Actually, education might be considered MORE important by the majority of Americans, as many Americans (Christian Scientists, for example) do not believe in medicine, but all Americans believe in the importance of education.
Why do teachers have rights that are denied to doctors.
Imagine what would happen when doctors start to demand their “rights.”
Please, spend some time thinking about this.

If all Americans believed in the importance of education, the education system would not be in its current condition. If all Americans believed in the importance of education, the parents that I call would support my efforts to help their children succeed in school. If all Americans believed in the importance of education, I would not be spending my hard earned money each week to provide the basic classroom essentials for other people's children. If all Americans believed in the importance of education, we would all be in this together and there would be no more pointing figures and blaming one another for the conditions of our education system.

I don't see any Doctors in middle class homes, middle class cars or taking middle class vacations.---What more do they demand from the people anyway?
Our Health Ins. is sky high now! God forbid it go any higher----the Doctors will then not have any business.
Without collective bargaining,
The average income would remain 20 to 30 thousands a year for a family of four in the area. And, the rich will continue to get rich. At my age of 55 and working for the department of correction in this area, making less than 30 thousand a year has been quite difficult with a spouse and two children. Had we had a union, maybe our income would be the same if not more as other counties facilities across the bay bridge. With collective bargaining, this area would attract buisnesses. With businesses, we would have the funds to build better schools and the tools needed to educate our children. Business owners have families too. And, they want to ensure their children are getting the best education. Their money would go back into our community therefore providing us with the tools to build school, educate our children and reduce unemployment. We don't even have to have this discussion if we were business friendly. Instead, we have voted for politicans who care nothing about the middle class and poor. We've pushed a lot of businesses out of this area. We created an environment were crime is high. Unemployment is high. And, no funds to educate or build schools for our children. We have more kids in alternative schools and in the juvenile system on their way to the adult correctional facilities. Furthermore, we have a bunch of high price teachers (NOT ALL) who have abused the collective bargaing system for their own purpose. And, these teachers have taught our children nothing and have taken away their dreams. I am for collective bargaining. It's time for this area to grow. It's time for us to stop voting for politicans who don't care about this community. And, stop some of these teachers from abusing the system of collective bargaining and using lobbyist for their own purpose. Everytime the teachers open their mouth damanding this and that, it affects the middle class and poor working tax paying citizens to whom by no means makes the same income they make.
Tax the rich greedy unions so we can fill up our social security coffers and the rest of us can eat when we retire.

We have had unions and collective bargaining in this area. Where are they now? They bargained themselves out of the area and out of a job.
unions do not bring business. plain and simple, they destroy it (if you think otherwise, you have been fooled)
the failure of the family is the primary reason for schools failing, the vacuum left by the family has been filled by the NEA. Fix the family, fix the NEED for homes in schools and OUT goes the NEA.
corrections officers do not make more than 30k because it does not require a degree
