i dont think so. i didnt want to watch when i had them. feeling it was enough and what are you going to do with that video? you gonna show your friends and family, heck i wouldnt want to see my self born.
I personally wouldn't want myself videoed but I would like to have the option if I wanted to. Also, the doctor should be able to ask for it to be turned off if the person videotaping is in the way or if an emergency arises with the delivery.
Ummmm....Negatory on the camera in the delivery room. I don't want to see it, I would think that the memory would be vivid enough without a digital reminder. Also, I wouldn't want my kids to see me cursing their father out, telling him to never touch me again, lest I tear off his privates.
Since the question is "do cameras belong...", I would say absolutely. I have given birth to 4 children and have pictures from the delivery room with all of them. All of the pictures were taken tastefully without exposing my vagina!
Even so there are plenty of parents that opt to video record the birth for numerous reasons. I know a parent that video taped her daughters birth and when her daughter was showing a closer relation with her BF the mom sat the daughter down and made her watch it!

i think it should be up to the parents. but i'm glad my parents didn't do that. i don't need that mental image bouncing around in my head ...
It's the call of the parents, but I really don't think anyone wants to see their mom's vagina or their head crowning out of it. That's just gross.
No. Nor in the conception room.

As long as FedEx or UPS says it's ok... ;-)
