Annapolis, MD (December 11, 2010) - Maryland Democratic Party Chair Susan Turnbull issued this statement today following the election of State Senator Alex Mooney as Maryland Republican Party Chair.
"The Maryland Republican Party confirmed in today's election that they are bankrupt of new ideas and out of touch with most Marylanders by choosing someone who will move the Party further away from the mainstream. Mary Kane's prediction that the Republicans won't win the governor's mansion again for forty years just came closer to fact."

Fact: The Dems are not in touch with Marylanders. They are only in touch with the four (4) areas of MD that elect them. Also included in this group is the Money People, the Unions and the Under Priviledge that expects something for nothing. Anyone who disagrees with this needs to give me accurate facts disputing this, since this is History repeating election after election. Research of facts support my comments.
And they keep getting elected in this state! Who are the "Money People?" The Republican tend to look out for themselves and the Democrats try to look out for the common man. There is a happy medium in there somewhere, but our extreme state of partisan politics will never allow us to find it.
