I long for the day when they have real Priests concerned with doing what Jesus taught! Does the name Pharisee ring a bell here?
The church (I include all not just Catholic) has never been about Jesus. It is all about control and money.
This is the guy who tried to blackmail DC over gay marriage. Said he would stop all Catholic services to the poor. Guess this is his reward.
He backed down when the city said they would pay someone else to provide the services.
I am a protestant. It is hard to defend the catholic church since so many priests have been proven to be homosexuals. They seem to not realize the story of Sodom and Gommorah was a condemnation of homosexuality by the Jewish Old Testament.
