we will continue to allow openness and we will continue to rip ourselves apart. once women were admitted, we had to make conssessions for them. the same conssessions will have to be made for gays. new barracks, seperate bathrooms/showers, etc. next, we will splinter based on religion, then political veiws, then heritage. this will kill our military and frankly after that, the US will fall...then again, thats been the plan all along.

I agree that all citizens should stop joining at this point and it has nothing to do with being gay or straight. It has to do with the immoral nature of these wars. We are killing innocent people. We are no better than the so-called terrorists.

I am not a soldier and no members of my family are soldiers. But I would think most soldiers do not want homosexuals in their ranks. It seems logical to me that they do not want to worry about some guy hitting on them or looking at them in a sexual way when they are busy trying to kill bad people.
Let them serve. They deserve the same rights as everyone.
Why do we call it serving when it clearly is a job. Like any other job. People join the military to get paid. Many of these young men, women and gays (undecided) are not even patriotic. They simply don't want to work at Burger King. They are also influenced by the exciting commercials that show military fighting monsters and blowing up people from far away places.
Gays should be allowed to serve just like regular people. Althought they are gay they are still human beings.

you guys realize that less than 1% of all the military's time is spent fighting. so the 'gay fighting for survival' argument is out the window. 99% of the time is interaction with fellow soldiers.

Whats the next frontier for the gay rights agenda? Forcing the NFL or Major League Baseball to put a gay person on their team?? I'm sure there ARE gay people in the leagues, but they are also smart enough to follow the "don't tell and don't act like it" rule. No matter how much some people push the agenda, there are STILL some places ya better keep it to yourself. I know how much that just kills some of you.....lol
