Today, The Living Dead Rule!

Our Halloween Eve selections:

After a lifetime of making people laugh, what's a newly zombified clown to do?

You'll never look at Legos the same way again.

When your home and family are threatened by zombies,
take these Government-recommended steps.

Night of the Living Dead

The 1968 classic.

"They're coming to get you, Barbara!"

Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s 1959 off-the-wall classic,
called by some "The Worst Movie of All Time".
Bela Lugosi's last film appearance, notable
in that he was already three years in the grave when the film was made.
(Seeing this film may make you want to go out and rent Ed Wood, the great sendup
of Wood's career and personality around the time of Plan 9 From Outer Space. Martin Laundau
won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of a morphine-riddled
and commercially washed-up Lugosi.
"Pull the string! Pull the string! ")

"Night of the Living Dead" is a classic I have on DVD-the original one,not the cheesy color 1990 remake. It was done on a suprisingly low budget, many of the "zombie extras" were friends of the director. They knew someone who owned a butcher shop and thats where they got the hideous "body parts" you see zombies gnawing on.
And last but not least, it was unique for its era because the main character/hero of the movie was black.Awesome pick!
