I've been to Harpers Ferry and went on the ghost tour. It's really cool. If you go, be prepared to walk a bit. The history of Harpers Ferry is as important as any in American history. Violence occurred here long before the civil war and was indicative of the fact that slavery could no longer be ignored as every other president had until Lincoln.

It is a wonderful industry. Make up a bunch of crapola around an outline of facts and charge for it. Kind of like politics.

If you really want to be scared, drive through the Church Street area after dark.
