TROOPERS CHARGE WOMAN WITH CDS POSSESSION

On June 17, 2010 at 0120 hours, A Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack of the Maryland State Police stopped a Volvo passenger car for a traffic violation on Rt. 354 at Rt. 50 in the Willards Dash In parking lot. The Trooper could see CDS packaging items in plain view in the driver’s compartment. A further search of the vehicle revealed trace amounts of cocaine and paraphernalia. The driver of the vehicle, Frances Elizabeth Edler, 23, of Berlin, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. She was transported to WCDC and turned over to a District Court Commissioner pending a hearing.
