The 'LITTLE' Things

As you might remember, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today..

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic ,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone ...

All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be
At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong ,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It may be just that
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

I will certainly view all the little irritating moments in my life a lot differently since reading this. God guides us in his own way. All we have to do is follow.

all who believe in him shall have eternal life.I know he has prepared a place for me,in his kingdom .god loves spirital leaders and civil servants.let not your heart be heavy or feel your efforts are in vane, god is always with you,and gave his only son,for your sins,so that you may experience eternal life through him.there is no spirit, like the spirit of god.he can save your soul,if you believe in him.AMEN

We, my husband and I, were leaving work late in the evening around 10:00 ish..We just couldnt get there..many things held us up. I ha forgotten something and had to go back in the building, the signal light took forever to change to green, someone in front of us was going very slow. Just couldnt get moving. We were almost home when someone ran an interection on a country road. He was going extreamly fast and when he crossed in front of us his car was dragging the pavement in a ball of fire. He land in the woods. If we were "on time" we would have been in the woods also. Things like this happen for a reason. It was NOT our time to go. Thanks to God!

Wow! That's compelling! I met a woman in the Bahamas right after 9/11. She said she was supposed to be making a presentation at the World Trade Center that morning and thankfully she was running late because she forgot to take her display board and went back to her office for it which made her a few minutes late.
