TROOPERS ARREST MAN FOR BURGLARY

On Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 06:14 am, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack of the Maryland State Police responded to a residence on Greenwood Street in Salisbury in reference to a burglary in progress. The complainant advised Troopers a male subject in a red sweatshirt was attempting to gain entry into a residence. Further investigation revealed that a window to the residence had been broken. The suspect was located in the area and was identified as Dwight Shivers, 22, of Salisbury. Troopers charged Shivers with Burglary 4th degree and MDOP. He was turned over to a District Court Commissioner pending a hearing.
