Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh suggests environmentalists planned the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico to derail support for offshore drilling
By Ethan Miller, Getty ImagesLimbugh expressed suspicion about the timing of the BP oil well explosion, which occurred April 20 -- shortly before U.S. senators were expected to unveil a compromise energy bill that included offshore drilling.
Now, lest we forget, ladies and gentlemen, the carbon tax bill, cap and trade that was scheduled to be announced on Earth Day. I remember that. And then it was postponed for a couple of days later after Earth Day, and then of course immigration has now moved in front of it. But this bill, the cap-and-trade bill, was strongly criticized by hardcore environmentalist wackos because it supposedly allowed more offshore drilling and nuclear plants, nuclear plant investment. So, since they're sending SWAT teams down there, folks, since they're sending SWAT teams to inspect the other rigs, what better way to head off more oil drilling, nuclear plants, than by blowing up a rig? I'm just noting the timing here.
Has Limbaugh, known for blasting environmentalists, gone too far?

No, He's right for questioning the timing. Obama has been openly against Oil and Coal industry since becoming President. Funny how in the span of just a couple of months there have been several coal and oil "disasters" when they were few and far between in the decades before.

If you don't realize that these guys spout whatever they want to obtain high ratings, regardless of the facts, then your intelligence must be called into question.
ive mentioned the same thing in several posts before. the timing is VERY suspect. i know, i know...i love a good conspiracy as much as the next fella, but come on!
1. obama announcing the ban on drilling to be lifted. this earns a couple (few) right-leaning independent votes as well as a couple soft republicans.
2. BOOM!
3. government swoops in as the hero on clean up
4. imposes new taxes, fees, and possibly more bans on drilling and oil land leases.
5. grabs more environmental votes
win win win for obamas crew

Obama never called for offshore drilling, just exploration. If they can accuse Bush of perping 9/11 and breaking the levies in NO, why does this seem so far fetched?

I don't believe there is a conspiracy in this, I do believe that parts failed and somebody is responsible.
As far as the government and our tax dollars coming to the rescue, BP has stated they are paying for everything.
Ask yourself this, why isn't SOMEBODY putting those booms in the water NOW instead of waiting for this oil to make it to shore?
They could line the entire shoreline for miles and prevent this disaster from being even worse than it is, but they're not doing it!

"Mr. Obama said SWAT teams were being dispatched to the Gulf to investigate oil rigs and said his administration is now working to determine the cause of the disaster. "

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this . . . but yes, everything - and I mean everything is a conspiracy.
The elite leave nothing to chance. They control all news and the government. Yes, they create disasters. They control the weather with HAARP and they spray us with chemicals and vaccinate us with deadly virus.
Just because you are unaware of these matters doesn't mean they are not real. If you educate yourself you will find the ugly truth. If you continue to refuse to believe the obvious then you will live in the fairy tale which is Amerika on television.

3:35, you are a brave person. There are few of us that will ever say this and certainly not publicly. It is the Democrats that have been programmed by the "visitors" and very obvious the way they all mimic the same talking points. The liberal numbers are low but the elite keep them appearing large.
The AARP DOES control the weather (you spelled it HAARP) and they are trying to control our healthcare. Opps, you spelled our country wrong too (Amerika) but that's a good sign because it means that the teacher union people have not fully programmed you.
