TROOPERS INVESTIGATE CRASH ON SALISBURY BYPASS
On Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 12:17 am, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack of the Maryland State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on the Salisbury Bypass near Business Rt. 13/Centre at Salisbury. Through investigation, Troopers learned that a 2005 Mazda was coming off of the ramp from south bound Business Rt. 13 to enter south on the Rt. 13 Bypass when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned several times into the center median of the Bypass, partially ejecting the driver. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Adam Kondziola, 28, of Salisbury, was transported to PRMC with serious injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, Linda Kay Rogers, 46, of Salisbury was transported to PRMC with non-life threatening injuries. Troopers are continuing their investigation into this case.

any word on the drivers condition?
No
He expired unfortunately. Three firefighters actually physically lifted the vehicle off the guy while a couple of paramedics and a female sheriff deputy pulled him from under the car. Great show of strength and teamwork. For everyone who bashes those guys, this is when they earn their pay as well as what the volunteers do as well as it was a combination of paid and vol that lifted the car and pulled the guy out to give him a chance. Was great to watch.
Adam has since passed into our Lord's loving arms. Please pray for our family during our time of grief.
My prayers are with Adams family at this time. I know the family and know that this is heart wrenching for them.
I am in shock. Adam, you will be greatly missed by everyone. Rest in peace.
Is Adam by any chance Pat Kondiola's son who used to be a secretary at Glen Avenue School?
Adam, you will be missed.
RIP to the family! I saw the car overturned in the ditch as I was on my way home on the bypass.. as I rode by I prayed whoever that was made it out alive! :(
R.I.P. Adam...

Joe have you received any information about the crash last night on Tilghman Rd? There was two cars flipped over and many police officers out there.

Yes, he was her stepson.
To, Sherri, Jacob and Kondziola family Adam worked for me at Circuit City and was a GREAT GUY and will be missed!!!! Your in our thoughts. Teresa ,Mark,Zackary and Victoria
This should be a learning lesson to those lacking driving skill! This is a perfect example, a shame it had to result in a life being takin by his own hand. However, let it be a lesson learned to those reading the this sad story. I firmly believe those that lack the "race car driving" ability, need to stay in the slow lane and drive with caution (stay off the cell phone & put the Burger down) . All to well, stories like this are plastered in the headlines, Street-racing, Aggressive Driver, and the like, but the fact is, amateur performance drivers need to SLOW down! Just because you have the ability to operate a motor vehicle, does not mean you know HOW TO DRIVE! And because of sad situations such as this, those of us skilled and trained in such driving techniques, qualified control and suitably modified vehicles are badgered by law enforcement... But just wait, the season has just began and now all the amateur Motorcyclist are coming out to play in traffic! So, prepare yourself for tons of Headlines with MC deaths & accidents. My advice to those that want to learn how to drive better, sign up for an Autocross or Roadracing coarse near-by. Such as New Jersey Motorsports Park, Summit Point and Virginia International Speedway. I've been there and done that in both cars and MC's so I speak from experience, this isn't just hot air.
My condolences to the fallen-ones family.
11:47 I believe that it is. He is also the son of Leo who works in the Facilities Dept. at the Board of Ed.
R.I.P Adam. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

WTF? It's obvious you didn't even know Adam. He was NOT the type to "street race" as you imply. He was a gentle soul who stayed true to himself instead of trying to be some macho bad-ass like most of the young men in this area. I don't know what caused the ACCIDENT (which you apparently need to look up in the dictionary!) and neither do you so shut your piehole.
To 2:44, A life was taken. Nobody needs/wants to hear about the lessons you believe were taught. Its a time to sympathsize with the family and friends of Adam. Show respect for the family, I lost my brother and seeing comments like these in between comments of love and support were very hurtful. My thoughts and prayers are with his family!
2:44 PM
yes it is, very hot air
RIP my dear Adam, I love you and you will be missed. Your family is in my prayers.
I am sincerely sorry to hear of this loss!! Adam was a good person and I am very sad that this happened to him. I remember him from the Island Way days and he was always a nice guy. My condolences go out to his family in this tough time.
And to the person who talked about this being a life lesson, can it!! You don't know the whole story about what happened that night so you have no room to talk about what 'might have happened'! I'm sure he wasn't trying to show off his 'race car driving ability'. For you to down him because of his driving 'skills' is just a little messed up. Unless you were in the car that night and know exactly what happened I think it's best you keep your mouth shut and let the family mourn their loss in peace.
Interesting how the passenger in the car is in today's newspaper as being arrested for drunk driving last week. Hmmmmmm
My prayers go out to this family on Easter Sunday. What a sad day for their family.
joe..... how can you even have the heart to post 2:44's comment? i knew adam for a long long time, he will be missed
At 9:09.....how is that even relevant???? She was in the passenger seat. How dare you even bring that up after what she has been through. Adam was a very good friend to her and many others. This is a very tragic accident. My thoughts and prayers are with Adam's family during this horribly sad time. RIP Adam.
I read all the comments posted and honestly I dont feel like 2:44's comment was all that terrible. The comment never stated Adam would not be missed or that the person whom posted that comment was not sorrowful that Adam lost his life. I do believe they said in the comment "condolences to Adam's familyand it was a shame that he lost his life." With that being said, everybody needs to stop bashing 2:44 and actually listen to what this person is saying. We all need to slow down, be more careful and attentive. I have seen these young people zooming around town with not a care or worry in the world, not paying attention to there surroundings and never once do they stop to think that they could be sealing there own fate. I am not saying Adam was a speed racer, all I am saying is that its a shame that this young man had to lose his life due to hi slack of better judgment.
A death and serious injuries are tragic, therefore a lecture on "race driving" really isn't necessary at this time. The driver that expired was a good person and was a safe driver on a regular basis. He never drove after drinking and if he did he always wore his seatbelt. There are familys and friends that are deeply saddened by this event, so lets stick to nice comments buddy. I love both parties very much and my heart goes out to Adam's family. They're the nicest people and don't deserve this and neither did adam or linda.
May your heart, mind and soul rest in peace Adam...

you will be missed Adam you were always a good guy

WTF is wrong with you people!
2:44s comment was completely INAPROPRIATE as is your blanket claim that these "young people zoom around town . . ." or that "this young man had to lose his life due to hi slack of better judgment. You obviously DID NOT know Adam (or you would know that characterization is completely off base) so SHUT THE HELL UP! You have NO right to assume he was lacking in judgement. No one has any right to assume ANYTHING!
WE (his FAMILY) DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED YET so what the hell are you - some kind of psychic or crystal ball reader?
Didn't your mama ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say - SAY NOTHING AT ALL?
Think about how you would feel if it was your child or best friend before you spout off at the mouth.
Our family is aware of condolences left on this blog post and as such ARE READING IT! So thanks to those who have reacted appropriately in this tragic time.
