Primal Fighting Systems in Delmar, MD is proud to announce three of its amateur Mixed Martial Arts fighters will be in action this Saturday March 20th. Justin Esposito, Logan Estep, and Jacob Estep will all be fighting as part of Sibling Rivalry Promotions Presents: First State Fights "Hostile Intentions" at Delaware State University. Justin Esposito is a last minute replacement on the card and will be making his MMA debut stepping up in weight to take on fellow newcomer Neil Roy from Elite Jiu Jitsu in Newark, DE. Jacob Estep will be making his fourth appearance in the cage as he takes on 1-0 Wayne Ridgeway from Team Viper in Dover. This fight should prove to be a fight of the night candidate as both fighters are looking to "stand and bang." In the Co-Main Event Logan Estep will be defending his First State Fights 175 lb. Title vs. Frank Lauro Jr. This fight has fireworks written all over it. Both fighters bring a wealth of experience to the cage, and are both prepared to do whatever it takes to leave Saturday night Champion. Please Check out www.firststatefights.com for more information.
Saturday night is just the start of a big couple of months for Primal Fighting Systems. Then on April 24th Primal Fights returns to the Delaware State Fairgrounds. Primal Fights is Delmarva's #1 amateur MMA promotion and is brought to you by Professional MMA fighter and Delmar resident Brad Pole. Not fighters, boxers.
Not boxers, Mixed Martial Artist
8:45 wrong ,mma contestants are fighters since they also grapple and use other styles
Sherdog.com, the most reliable source for MMA fights and records has Pole's career stats. No wins, 3 losses.
Dear Mr. or Ms. Anonymous,
I will try and be nice to you, and educate you on MMA and it's record keeping. first off sherdog.com (or as it is referred to in MMA circles shitdog.com)is not the most reliable source for MMA records or information. If you want to look at my record check here (http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm?go=stats.fighterDetail&pid=D674B0A31F04C431) MixedMartialArts.com is the official record keeping site for MMA as voted on by the Association of Boxing Commissions. So, now that that is cleared up I will address my record.
I am a 1-3 Pro Fighter. My fights in 2001/2002 were as anamateur fighting Pro's. I have fought all over the country I have won some, I have lost some, but I fight. Please feel free to look at my opponents records as well. with the exception of Joe demore, I have fought some pretty tough dudes, and on May 30th I get a chance to get redemption on Demore, and I will beat him no doubt.
So, in closing my name is Brad Pole, not anonymous. Please if you ever have a question about me, my fighters, or need an education in MMA come see me, I am always around. I train everyday.
YEA! What he said!
i witnessed these guys from primal put on a hell of a show at first state fights. they fought there balls off. they took the fights to there opponents and showed what mma was all about . i really enjoyed it.
Joe Demore record, 1 win(Pole), 4 losses. Rooting for Pole in the rematch though.
I love it....I agree with brad, If ur gonna say sumthing negative, Use ur name....
I'm not too concerned with what Brad's record is as a Pro or what it was as an amateur. I've had the honor to train with them guys and they train hard and work all aspects of MMA. Brad was awarded his belts by Prof Sauer and J. Garfield which shows his level of Jiu Jitsu. The main thing to me is that Brad and alot of his guys get in the cage and let it all hang out, that alone deserves respect! So what he lost some fights, he went back trained harder and fought again! Good luck to Brad and Steve in their upcoming fights. Pat T
Hey Joe,
I know Jacob and Logan from a Martial Arts school I attend. Would love to see the results of Saturday posted here.
Here are the results from Saturday nights First State Fights.
Justin Esposito, after taking the fight on 5 days notice and giving up almost 20 lbs. of weight at fight time came out and scored the first takedown. Justin was doing well, until he got swept and subsequently mounted. His opponent then secured an armbar, Justin did a great job defending the armbar and never tapped. The referee then stepped in and stopped the contest due to safety concerns. In our opinion a bad call, but hey, its part of the game.
In our second fight of the night, Jacob Estep thouroughly dominated his opponent for all three rounds. Most fans sitting ringside agree that the fight would have been over in less than a minute, if not due to the limited rules in Delaware.
Logan Estep (Twin Brother of Jacob) then stepped in to defend his First State Fights 175 lb. Title vs. the more experienced Frank Lauro Jr. Logan opened the fight by eating a hard right hand from Frank, after that it was all Logan scoring takedown after takedown. Then with less than 10 seconds left in the first tound Logan scored his third takedown of the round and the experienced Frank Lauro pulled off a guillotine for the finish with 4 seconds left.
All in all a great night of fights, obviously we want to win em all, but you have to take the good with the bad.
Look for all three of these fighters to be in action again, April 24th at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington at Primal Fights 4. For more information Contact Brad Pole at 410-603-3961. Thank you for the continued support.
