Look Folks, we already told you, YES, he will be running. He'll wait until the very last minute to announce it but for some reason this is the biggest topic in politics to date in Maryland. While it may be nice to get a confirmation, popping regular stories up like this is NOT going to force Bob into making an announcement. We told you last summer, the man is going to run for Governor and that's all there is to it.
Now, go prove me wrong.

Word is he wants to go back to the Congress -- can you blame him?
I hope he runs for President in 2012
Thank God !!!!!!!
He has my vote period.
I don't even live in MD anymore and I support Ehrlich.
Has anyone wondered why the new Mayor of Baltimore is able to actually lay 600 people off to cut costs yet the current Governor can't seem to be capable of going beyond not filling vacant positions throughout the entire state? I don't really wish anyone to lose their job but I'm pointing out that O'Malley has not been capable of (really) balancing the budget for his entire term. The new Baltimore mayor at least demonstrates that she wants to be a serious leader.
there are alot of other places that our Governor can cut without laying off state employees.
Has Gov O'Malley cut anything????
"there are alot of other places that our Governor can cut without laying off state employees."
This may be true but only if O'Malley took balancing the budget seriously. Baltimore's Mayor isn't finished yet but she's off to a heck of a better start than the State. The entire article can be found below:

Finally a government leader who has the b**ls to do the smart thing, ironically a woman! Good for her!

That is what I was trying to say. I think that the State workers who are doing jobs that are not really needed know this. The Budget though is simply what you can afford based upon what you take in. Squeeze more taxes and you can spend more. If not, why would anyone think they can spend more than they have?
I heard or read somewhere today that Gov'ner Bob will announce on April 7.
