Incident: Thefts from Motor Vehicles
Date of Incident: 13 January 2010
Location: Wicomico County, MD
Suspect: Pending
Narrative: Between 11-13 January 2010 the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has been receiving reports of numerous reports of unattended vehicles entered during overnight hours. During these incidents, thieves are making off with both money and personal electronics. The common element in these vehicles is that the suspects are targeting unlocked vehicles, many while parked in the victim’s own driveways.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking everyone to remain vigilant for any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods and reminds everyone to please lock their vehicles while unattended. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to contact either the Sheriff’s Office or Crime Solvers.
Investigations have taken place on these streets:
26000 block of S. Tourmaline Drive
26000 block of Osprey Circle
7300 block of Levin Dashiell Road
6200 block of Oxbridge Drive
28000 block of Beddington Way
6300 block of Willow Creek Drive
6700 block of Cherry Walk Road
25000 block of Club Circle

That's why our insurance rates are so high , people are just too lazy to lock their cars!
These are nice neighborhoods , it is sad to think that the comfort and safety of suburbia is gone in this town . Lock you shed , your car , your house . I know most will say common sense but it has not always been this way . Sad
