Are you even a fan of the O's? Why wouldn't Tejada help us for 1 year? He hit .313 last year, way better than Mora. It was a 1 year deal because we have a 3rd baseman in the farm system that should be up by the end of the year.

It's obvious this helps! He hit great last season and is taking a big pay cut to come back.
Just like Ripken did at the end of his career, Miggy will move to a position that isn't as physically demanding.

Shows you don't know nearly as much about the Orioles as you do politics. Tejada may be winding down his career but he still can hit. The comments made by both Brian Roberts and Nick Markakis showed their overwhelming support along with Tremblay saying nobody wanted to win more than Miggy when he was here before. He has his baggage, but the alternatives discussed were not as good in my opinion. This is going to be an exciting season fir the Orioles and I hope you post some of the success they have as well as your pot shots.
the o's suck, used to be a wonderful team, present ownership is a joke, no point in even spending 1 sec worrying about what they may or may not do until the team is sold to someone who wants to put a winner on the field!
He might be able to hit but what about when he's on the field? Get real people, the O's signed him again because no one else wanted him. I watch every game. I know what he's like on the field.

So we give someone 6 million when no one else wanted him? Don't talk sports if you don't know a thing about them. We are real fans of local teams and will defend them against fair-weather fans. I truly have to doubt that you watch every game, if you can have watched last year and tell me anyone isn't an upgrade over Mora.
