Sorry Joe, but I don't think the kettle post is the proper venue for your broadcast no matter how positive the content of this particular show.

The Salvation Army Kettle is there to raise funds for the Salvation Army. If you're using it as a backdrop for your program, it's not being used to generate much needed funds for the SA.

Not only that, but at one point you had a very loud woman taking over the sound of the program, which made your broadcast a background for her conversation.

Other than that, keep up the good work. I appreciate your effort and time that you are putting into the Salvation Army and hope it spurs more people to take such a proactive stance.

Im glad your using vimeo instead of google / youtube - Youtube has censored many for non liberal speech

This is cool the whole show in one frame instead of 3 with you tube.

I think the Kettle backdrop is good. It makes people think about donating and volunteering.

I think it is great that a show was devoted to volunteerism and giving.

What a positive story at the Christmas season.

Don't agree with 10:35 about using the kettle backdrop. What better way to promote the kettle season. Anyone who wanted to contribute, did I'm sure.

Hi Joe. We enjoyed the show today -you seemed more relaxed (even smiled more.) I was glad to know more about Brooke & must admit I was making sarcastic comments about the Pohanka pay it forward thing, until I heard how much it actually generated.

As was already mentioned, we could barely hear you & your guests at times due to the background noise. I'm sure that's being addressed.

Thanks for the interesting info. & we look forward to being enlightened some more!

The community owes a big thank you to Sandy and the Pohanka team. When the car industry was at its worst, they started Pohanka Pays It Forward....$119,000 donated to local non-profits and counting is just amazing.

Also, Rob - what a guy - with all he has going on, he is finding the time to give back too...and paying it forward.

If you are reading this blog and aren't giving back a least an hour or two of your time - especially this time of year - SHAME ON YOU!

Joe

Excellent use of your show...I like the positive focus. You are the only venue that can bring us this kind of information.

Don't mind the controversial issues - just keep to the facts and avoid the personal stuff. The "others" do that and you are so far above them.

The show is getting better and better!

Joe, invest in some chairs like you see on the Reggis & Kelly show and you will look much better on camera. The chairs you have been using allow you to sit in an unflattering manner. Get taller chairs that force you to sit upright and lower the camera to eye level.

Also, lose the sunglasses and you will be perceived as being more credible.

Your producers are not on the ball.
