Salisbury News Ranks #1 in Maryland And Delaware

WOW, Snake Eyes Again! There must be a lot to say about hits when they calculate each Blogs standings because we enjoyed a record day every single day of the week last week. No one has ever really figured out how the system works on Blognetnews but one thing we know of for sure is each and every day blew away our previous numbers.

So for those of you who are new to Salisbury News, Welcome Aboard and thanks for visiting. One thing I really enjoyed the most was having a record day on Thursday and then seeing the same kind of numbers the following day, meaning many of you came back.

I think most of you have come to realize that I'm kind of taking it easy on the weekends now. We're slower at posting comments and we're not delivering as much news because quite frankly there aren't as many visitors on the weekends and I deserve some time off too. Maybe we'll come across a weekend blogger who wants to put up Posts on a regular basis just on weekends?

Remember Folks, we're always looking for more Contributors to lighten the load. If you're interested contact me at alberobutzo@wmconnect.com. Thanks for visiting and making Salisbury News the #1 Blog in Maryland and Delaware again.

Its incredible to think that a blog on Salisbury would have better ratings then those in Washington or Annapolis. Congratulations Salisbury News.

Congratulations Joe! Your blog fills a tremendous void in the presenting of news and information. Your dedication and hard work are appreciated and (detested) by many. Put me in the column of appreciated. Thank you.

Allow me to explain this Post a little better. On Thursday we had the biggest day we've ever had on any day. However, Monday through Saturday we had the biggest days we've ever had for each individual day. In other words, Monday was the biggest Monday we've ever had. Tuesday was the biggest Tuesday we've ever had, etc..

Thanks for the kind words/wishes.

Hence, the increased volume is a tribute to your hard work and validates your blog! I am still in the column of "appreciated".
Thank you once again.

anonymous 10:42, thank you! We posted almost as many articles in the month of July alone as we did for the entire year of 2006.

The idea is to keep you more informed about the HOT TOPICS, right or wrong, democrat or republican, for or against. We don't just post articles we necessarily like, which many people seemed confused over.

In fact, we're even posting Press Releases from Frank Kratovil's Office because we want you informed.

Comments can set the tone on weather you agree or disagree but at least you'll know in our small portion of the United States how the majority feel about each issue.

Thhis is why I encourage ALL of you to participate with your thoughts on each issue.

That being said, this is also why we've chosen to add more National News with GO HERE links to view more about what's going on in our Nation. Kind of a one stop shop, so to speak. Much like the MSM linking to Salisbury News when they see fit, we're trying to offer the same and I'm very pleased so many of you are enjoying what we're offering.

Joe - I thought you were finished with the rankings site? Or do only post it when the results are what you want?

anonymous 11:56, the Blognetnews rankings for Salisbury News are always posted on the right hand side of the Blog. While I continue to challenge Blognetnews on the fact that some Blogs that only achieve 48 hits a day, (like Michael's Site) can sometimes achieve a ranking anywhere in the top 20 is foolish. Their rankings say "Most Influential" and I'm sorry but how can you have ANY influence when youi only reach a very small few after Blogging for 4 years.

I hope you can understand my point now. Salisbury News is by far one of the highest volume Blogs in hits per day/week than any other local Blog in the State, (non national Blog).

We, (unlike many of the other Blogs in Maryland and Delaware) don't just put up one post per day. We EARN the ranking.

I do enjoy this site. I may not always agree with some of the articles, but I like to see how others feel. Hopefully, this will continue to be a source of news for us. Great job.

The presentation of news and information on a factual basis seems to be your goal, whether it comes from the right, middle or left. As you say, readers can draw their own conclusions and comment accordingly.
