With all the crap going on in the county, towns and city I can't understand why these people are not fighting for their rights right here at home.

Anonymous said...

They think they are.

12:38, yes. How many of these people are ready to walk a recall petition on Louise Smith, who lied her way into office and breaks her own rules and code of conduct?

Do these people come to city or county council meetings?

These demonstrations would mean more at one of those meetings on a local issue. They mean nothing to Washington.

Many of these people showed up for the public hearing on down zoning.

Why not celebrate the good of our country on it's birthday instead of this sour protest? America:love it or leave it.

because some of us care what kind of futures our children will have!! That is why!!

6:34,

Independence Day already has a meaning, and it's not for partisan political posturing.

The Tea Parties are not partisan!

Maybe you should care more about what kind of county/city you are leaving them. If everyone took care of what is going on in their own hometowns the country would be on the road to recovery

7:31,

Who do you think you're fooling? Where were the tea parties last year? Where were they 6 years ago? Where were the signs at the tea party on 4/15 that said anything negative about Republicans? Why did Andy Harris show up? Give me a break.

You have no clue about what is going on, about the real movement in this country. You seem to be blinded to reality. Just keep up your angry outbursts and sit on the sidelines.

I suspect the 4th of July crowd will be much larger, get the word out. This is not the end, it is just the beginning!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to have no clue, as do so many others. People have hit their breaking point, but please, sit on your mothers couch while the real Americans do what needs to be done to protect our country.

July 4th will be difficult because it is a holiday. We need to get as many people out there as possible. Spread the word!!

Well said. Traditionally, only the most anti-American groups protest on July 4th. Last year it was the "New World Order Protest Rallies" trying to replace our constitution from the extreme left.

Now we've got the tea bag group doing the same thing from the extreme right. Great...

Just go away and let us celebrate our great nation.

You're really going to protest on the 4th of July?

What genius thought up that idea? I hope you're ready for the backlash.

Ignorance may be bliss for some, but I will not let that happen to my children. I will do all I can for them, and protect them from the ignorance you are spewing.

Go Patriots, the stupid are ruining our country. Socialism marches on while they complain about those trying to preserve the freedom.

I support and appreciate the passion of the Tea Parties. I agree with the foundation of their purpose.

I do not agree with the July 4th gathering. We are a military family. Our loved one leaves us regularly to serve this country. July 4th has a special meaning for us. We plan to spend July 4th the way we do each year, as a family, with our children, together. We're apart too much during the year to leave our kids behind and head to the tea party. We'll catch you on the next one.
