I remember Phillie when Frank Rizzo was Mayor. Sure, you had a little violence here and there like when Angelo Bruno was killed in 1980 and was replaced by Phil Testa......and when Phil Testa was killed in 1981 and was replaced by Little Nicky Scarfo. Even with the 30 or so members of the mafia and people with whom they did business that were killed in the 4 years after Angelo Bruno was killed you didn't have a tenth of the violence you now have with the absence of the mafia presence that was once there. Now you have drug dealers on every corner. Shooting and killing everywhere. The police department is twice the size it was and it STILL can't get a handle on the violence coming from the open air drug markets. Phillie was much better off with criminals with a "code of conduct" than they are now.

I remember this comercial! It's a classic!
Yeah, a comercial that promotes fear and violence while exploiting a child and an elderly person, awesome!
No different than the commercials of today that promotes sex and degrades women.
What we need is Salisbury Italian style, it sure would reduce the crime in this city.
Why not just enjoy the humor and satire of The God father.
Its a funny commercial.
Anybody knows that theres no mafia no no they're in Waste removal yeah thats it
