The Chesapeake College women’s softball team will be leaving today to be 1 of only 16 teams nationwide to be in the National Junior College World Series.
Funny how you have to come to Salisbury News to get this kind of story but let's give credit where credit is due. I'm sure they'll represent the Eastern Shore with great pride and hopefully they come home with a Championship.

Why only come to SBYNEWS? How about the local papers (Star Democrat and Record Observer) to that area? You are not the only source Joe.
Would like tosee more on major sports events taking place and results. SU had a regional play offs I heard this weekend with teams from the Mid Atlantic and Northern regions. Thanks for at least letting us know about Chesapeake College. I heard this in passing with little info. Thanks Joe.
