Effective Tuesday morning Sam's Club will no longer sell gas to the regular Joe. You must be a Member in order to achieve the lowest gas prices in Town. I knew it was only a matter of time. If you click on the image above it will give you all the details except their phone number, 410-860-8466. Again, something you won't see in the Daily Times.

Its about time. An actual benefit to being a member of Sams Club. We dont' pay for membership for nothing.
They had that same sign up last November with a different date on it. If they plan to make it members only then they need to take the walmart signs off the pump awnings. This proves yet another way Walmart and its offspring plans to screw the world over....
The DTs only covers news. How, by any stretch of the imagination, is this news?

While Salisbury News has encouraged many to go to Sam's to purchase gas, those same people should be made aware that as of tomorrow they will no longer be able to purchase gas there if they are not a member.
I'd say it will save thousands of people from going there if they are not a member. That's not only news, it's a service the Daily Times doesn't provide.
Now go back to your Anti Albero Blog and make more stupid posts about nothing.
I don't quite understand this. Every time I go to the pump, the first thing it asks for is my Sam's member card. Are non-members using someone else's card? Please clarify.

I think if you dont have a membership you have to pay like 5 cents per gallon more. I know after I swipe my members card it says I get a 5 cent discount.
Honestly it seems that they can't offer that great discount to paying members. By eliminating non-member prices you can't see that they will soon be the same price!
Joe... com'on it really isn't news.
Most non-members even mess with going there. 1) Too much traffic with members at the pump 2) There are plenty of other options nearby at the same price (if not cheaper).
Plus, most news release stories very close to when it will be effective, so it is fresh in peoples minds. They aren't going to say "FYI that in 1 month and 2 days..."
I guess this means that you can no longer use a WalMart gift card for gas?

Sams has had gas cheaper than wawa and exxon for months now, as far as lines at the pump, they are shorter there than at other places. I dont care what you say its NEWS to me. If you dont like a story skip to the next one or click on the X at the top right hand corner.
I'm not sure this is 'news' maybe just information.
I don't pay for DT anymore, but I can't see any reason to celebrate this 'scoop'.
