Maryland's Fair Share Act Is Back!

This is not a joke. There are some Maryland Legislators that have sponsored legislation to allow the collective bargain unit -(Union)- to negotiate collective bargaining and collect union fees on its non-union members.

But get this folks. . . it gets better. Contained within both the House and Senate Bills are exclusions to collective bargaining for Morgan State University, St. Mary's College of Maryland, and Baltimore City Community College employees.

Some of our elected representatives will stoop to the lowest levels in order to create separate economic class divisions among our people. This Bill is yet another example.

HOUSE BILL 298 and SENATE BILL 264

Incidentally, some of the sponsors of the above two bills are the same ones that proposed to exempt Schoolteachers, Law Enforcement, and Firefighters from having to pay any real estate property tax on their own residences while raising the tax assessments on all other Maryland Property owners to make-up the difference.

HOUSE BILL 965 - Property Tax Public School Teachers

HOUSE BILL 197 - Exemption of Property Tax for Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers, and School Teachers
