Remember the Micro Brewery that was going to open up at the old Union Station in Salisbury but the Mayor hit them with a ton of impact fees and they relocated to Delmar, DE.? Well, they're progressing fast and they even created their own Blog Site to keep everyone up to speed with construction.
Welcome!
Thanks for checking out our blog for the Evolution Craft Brewing Company. We'll keep everyone up to date on how construction is going, and when we're rolling out product where you can find it. Background on our beers, upcoming products and events will all be found here, and we'll be keeping extra up to date with twitter if you decide to get really obsessive. Cheers!
GO HERE to see their Blog. Enjoy the hits guys!!!!!

Whoo hoo! Finally craft beer right around the corner. Boy do I wish them well I wil be doing my part to support them.
Where is it going to be located exactly?
The brewery is located in Delmar in the old IGA building.
Y'all missed the point I believe; it's just another business run out of town by our "City Administration!"
I've lived here about 20 years and this city is totally sickening anymore and I WILL be leaving the Eastern Shore at my first opportunity!
they wont last.too late to enter that market.
Anon 12:58 I beg to differ. Right now the craft beer market is quite strong. Between the brewer here and the Knorrs ideas I think they stand a good shot at succeeding. Lets hope this "Natty Lite" market we live in can adapt to a decent and flavorful product. Dogfish Head in DE went from like the 600th sized brewery to number 12 or so.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Joe, Steve, and others! Won't be long. Cheers, Tom Knorr
I agree with 11:02. The shore is a $h*thole. Rundown houses are everywhere and the prices they are asking for this real estate "near the beach" is ridiculous. Crime is high and wages are low. Not a great quality for anyone. Dont even get me started on that high "quality of life" BS that the locals claim. This place proves that ignorance is bliss. Live anywhere else and see the light.
Salisbury really dropped the ball on this one. I used to work part time for Tom and company and he can turn a turd into a treasure. Them's some smart SoBro's.
Why didn't anyone sugest that they seek enterprize zone status and gave them tax breaks over a period of time to offset the cost of the water impact fee?
How can "smart growth" let an "EXCLUSIVE" business get away? Because the mayor and majority of the city council are compound stupid, that's how.
Our loss is another Delaware gain. Best wishes Tom, John and Bo!
