American initiative and the ability of Americans to improvise is hard to beat. The internet comes along and we learn to communicate with those worlds away at the speed of light. When our economy goes in the toilet we tighten up our belts and move on. Some folks have even gone so far as to blend their own bio-diesel to try to save a few dollars in order to make ends meet when fuel prices were going through the roof. But click on this link http://mlis.state.md.us/2009rs/billfile/SB0093.htm and I think you'll agree that we're looking at another example of when Americans face adverse conditions and adapt in an attempt to overcome said adversity, the govt. is right there to make sure they can make some money from it - knowing all well it will hurt you even more. This is the kind of thing we need to remember when the supporters of these types of bills come up for re-election.
Remember what Reagan said when speaking of overbearing govt...."If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
Well it would appear that these Representatives are trying to get the first two objectives taken care of promptly.
How dare we try to deprive them of a few tax dollars so that we can pay our bills! When will we ever learn?

It is not the "supporters of these bills" we need to remember. We simply need to wake up. All of these elites need to go! Elect your next door neighbor, your pastor, your school teacher, somebody REAL, some person who is a regular person. Any one, I repeat any one, who is rich should not be elected! Wake up America. These elites have a money agenda. They do not care about us. Elect the people you KNOW. Stop watching the television.
