An Interesting Comment Turned Into A Post

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "RECORD DAY!":

"Joe a friend of my daughters has a 4 1/2 year old son that goes to the same day care as our grand-baby, the ark in Seaford. My wife told me this morning that she had just found out that the day care left this 4 1/2 year old boy locked in one of their transport vans from 7:45AM until 2:45PM. Seems that no-one missed him or realized this for 7 hours, can you believe that. The mother is in the process of dealing with the proper authorities to get to the bottom of this. Crazy."

Might be a good idea to confirm third-hand hearsay before ruining the reputation of a business. MSM is supposed to do that.

It's a good thing it wasn't a Summer day outside in the 90's or that child would be dead. I hope the appropriate authorities get involved in this and shut that place down. I have always had an uncomfortable feeling about that fly by night church.

Were the handles taken off? Can't you open a door from the inside? My 4 1/2 year knows how to get out from the inside of a vehicle. Judge slowly people.

4:04- If they child was properly restrained in a child safety seat or booster, they probably couldn't get up to get to the door handle.

Can you imagine the child at the end of that day? scared, alone, hungry, probably had to go to the bathroom on him/herself... if this is true someone should pay dearly for this.

Here's another story that should not have been posted unless there was complete and certain validation that the event took place as stated. Hearsay has no place in this situation. As 2:28 says, this can ruin the church's reputation. 2:42, that church as existed for quite a long time. I wouldn't be calling it a "fly-by-night" church unless you had some basis to be doing such.

anonymous 5:26,

If that was the case I should have rejected YOUR comment then too, right?

The point is that everyone has their own right to their freedom of speech. It's their opinion. You don't have to agree with them, just learn to accept them for who they are and that they have just as much right to be heard as you do, right or wrong.

I agree Joe.
everyone has the right to voice their opinion.

My question on this is ow did they know their child sat in a car for 7hrs??
and why did they even leave there before they called police in it??
And their does seem to be alot of loopholes, but then again, they are probley going thur what I am. no one listening no one doing anything.
It is sad to know that a child would be forgotten in a car all day.. poor thing..
Well if this is true then I hope the parents are moving quickly on this and find a better daycare for this child. Maybe one that does not transport any children...
I hope all goes well

I hope the child is fine!!!!!!!!!

I asked my daughter and she said it was a mini-bus, I quess the child didnt figure out how to operate the side verticle door handle or the rear door which is usually the emergency exit and could be a little different than an ordinary car door lock. All I know is that mother was Pizzed. And apparently there was a meeting that turned into smoke and mirrors. Not that mirror. I would like to hear what they have to say.

5:26 PM

It is a fly by night church also known as a non denominational church ran by a bunch of money hungry freaks.

Freak churches can exist for as long as other freaks cater to them. You must be one of the freaks.

The child was in good hands. The childcare center is overseen and blessed by the church. Therefore I am sure God was watching over the child. Have faith people. No one dies until the Lord is ready for them.

Whether they are freaks or not the point is about a child left in a van for unexplainable time. Yes I agree we need to learn more before it is judged. One question. Why is it we are reading about it on SBY & not in the times?

I think all daycares should be required to have webcam services. This is a service that allows the parents to log on throughout the day to monitor the center, their children, and the interaction between the two.

I understand some people have no choice but to work but the ones who put their children in daycare so they can run all day long need to consider incidences like this to determine if getting hair and nails done or running to the gym is worth entrusting a stranger to care for their child. This happens often in daycares across the country. I sacrifice a lot to be a stay at home mommy so I know where my children are and to have peace of mind that they are properly being cared for.

I guess they should be glad it was not one of my grandkids! NO Matter what our family would NOT be understanding. Those people accepted a responsibility and failed horribly.

Hopefully now someone will do something about the shoddy daycare they run!!

when i went to school the drivers would always check the bus, behind and under every seat, after the "last" child left the bus. That's all it would have taken to prevent this. Especially when transporting such young kids, GEZE. So fire the bus driver and call it a day.

with all due respect, did you forget to take your meds before church this morning? I do not care how blessed and favored you feel the church and its daycare center is, it does not negate the seriousness of what allaegedly happened to that poor kid! Using your analogy, its OK to leave young kids unattended, after all they are protected so they would never think to crawl into the oven.God does watch over us all but it is still up to us to NOT BE STUPID and place a precious child in harms way.

still waiting to hear about this in a MSM news entity.

This is all true trust me I pulled my kids from that daycare. When I asked them about this problem they admitted to all that happened, he was in the van for 6 1/2 hours, but the next day they said that it was all a lie and was trying to cover it all up. That is the day my kids were pulled. If they had told the truth and also said what they were going to do to fix the problem I may have rethought the situation. BUT if they are going to lie to me HOW DO they expect a mother to trust them.
