I'm sorry you feel I'm the anonymous commenter ragging on See & Gordy. Let me assure you, if I had anything to do with it I believe I've proven in the past I'm not at al afraid to say whatever I like about those two Idiots. However, in this case you're wrong.
As for the Salvation Army, I have not only stood outside day and night doing what I said I would do, I have also used this Blog as a tool to reach out to many others in the hopes of getting so many open slots filled and that has worked beautifully. There will not be one single person who volunteered to do so not Happy in the end for making such a decision by ringing the bells, I don't care how cold it gets. It's very rewarding.
So rag on me all you want. You're the type of Idiot who bitches at me, yet you do nothing to participate.
Here's my offer to you. I would be more than happy to spend a few hours letting you get to know me and here's what I suggest. Take an hour or two slot filling in for the Salvation Army and I will personally stand there with you and we can talk the entire time and you can get the chance to actually get to know who I am.
Many people have come to learn that while I was really hard on people two years ago, I needed to do so to get people coming to this Site and see the wild things going on in Salisbury. Now that everything I was saying has proven to be true, people respect what I'm doing and have been kind enough to actually get to know me personally. I make that same offer to you. Remember my situation with Wayne Barrall? Look where that friendship is today. Give it a shot and I can assure you I'm not the bad guy Barrie Tilghman wants you to believe I am.

Oh, I forgot one important thing to add here David. I no longer get the Daily Times and I did not prchase it to see Chief See's letter. I also have not gone to their Website to see it either. I could have but I wasn't aware of it until this comment came in and quite frankly I've been on my phone pretty much most of this evening and haven't had time nor the interest to be perfectly honest. I did get a call from someone who noticed Jennifer's Son was in the Daily Times today where the Marines announced his entry into the Marine Corps last week. I wonder how the Anti Albero people will twist that around and claim he's only doing it so he'll be recognized on the Blogs too.
I look forward to your reply and it will be very interesting to meet you in person and raise some money for the Salvation Army in the mean time.
Well I see my comment to 6:18 stirred you up. Good!!! For your information I am neither of the three stooges you accused me of being. As far as telling you who I am.. not yet.. Time will come soon enough for that. I will give David credit for having the decency on behalf of Salisbury complimenting Willards and Pittsville on their job. Plus, reminding everyone about the importance of smoke detectors. But still it was for us readers to be informed of the family that experienced this horrible loss. Joe, you amaze me, wanting me to come stand outside of the Salvation Army so we could talk. Don't think so...sorry.

I followed Joe's blog for quite a while before graciously accepting his offer to contribute. There has been quite a few times that I commented on his site and TOTALLY disagreed with his posts.
Not until I called him about some news in West OC, and spoke to him several times through phone calls and emails, I found out who the real Joe is. I did not personally meet Joe until after I started writing for him, which was almost a month later during a fireworks display.
Since then, I have been to his home, I've stopped by and sat with his family and friends during a summer camping weekend and I've exchanged numerous phone calls and emails with him.
Joe answers his phone. He has nothing to hide. Call him, you won't be disappointed . . . it's your choice.
Joe Albero, this is personal, and perhaps blogs are supposed to be more on the humanistic side. You are very gracious to invite folks to "get to know you" in my case, I did it on my own, and found under alot of bravado you are a good man, and that is all that has to be said.
You put yourself out on the line, those that take swings at you, sometimes hit their target. I think that you may get lots of hate mail.
Not being a "native" I cannot understand the need to behave as teenagers and make every political, social and economic issue "personal". But we seem to have that as our foundation for comemrce, and conversation.
Keep the faith Joe, you will be a big part of the "truth squad" and the house cleaning of the Mare's office.
Think of it this way Joe, They say they hate you but they must love your blog they are always on it. I don't know you but since I stumbled onto your site I feel like I have been better informed. Don't worry about those other jackasses that have nothing better to do keep doing what you are doing. I am glad they get on and post a comment it gives me a good laugh.

Keep up the good work. Anyone that supports David See or the Three Stooges is blind or they are writing these posts themselves. The few that support the stooges are doing so for self promotion. It is called kissing someone's ass to move ahead in life. It is nothing more than the good ole boy system at it's best. I went back and read that editorial and I can tell you it was not sincere. Being a local volunteer I can tell you David See hates the volunteers in all departments. This is the truth so it does relate to your update to the Willards tragedy. I will step out on a limb and wish David See the best because he will definitely need it where he is going.
By the way, keep up the good work with your Blogging.
