Its my opinion that most overcompinsators like Gordy do so because of a small____________.
As a Career Firefighter (in another jurisdiction) I have to say, that is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever had the displeasure of reading or seeing coming from the mouth of another "firefighter." I will not call him a Brother, as it is quite obvious he is nothing but a MUTT. If he had any respect for himself, the SFD, or his vocation (I refuse to use the word "profession") as a firefighter, he will resign first thing monday morning.
Any fire fighter who says that should be arrested and thrown off the force with no retirement benefits. What a disgrace!!!!!
If this is true and a fire chief is doing this , he should lose his job.
Sounds like he is wanting you and your family to burn and he is a fire fighter.
I would take this to the police.
I do not want anyone coming to my house for a fire with a attitude like this.

My guess would be that this was sent by the younger Gordy. Bill may be alot of things, but he would never make an idiotic statement like that. The son , on the other hand would and has done before. He is a Lieutenant now at Staion 16 Vol. He will take care of himself in time.

This looks like a "set-up" to me--I don't believe that Bill Gordy Sr. would be stupid enough to send such a disgusting message. If he actually did, then he should be fired immediately. More likely one of HIS enemies sent this to get just the reaction it has so far.
I don't think Salisbury would respond that far out anyway Joe. Don't take it personal.
Tell Gordy to fix the drink cooler at Autumn Terrace because I'm tired of telling your help that the coolers are not working right.
The drinks are warm to the touch and the sign says it's 28 degrees. Bullcrap. The coolers are not working correctly. Better off not to have them on at all.

My take on Gordy is he thinks himself untouchable and wouldn't bother to make such a statement.
This borders on being a direct threat of arson. It probably doesn't cross the legal standard for arrest, but it sure does speak volumes about what a person in his position feels and thinks.
This is a disgrace to all fire departments. This is a disgrace to all good people in and around Salisbury.

Even on Thanksgiving someone has nothing better to do than be hateful. I pity the soul. It should warrant an issue of an IP address and if this person is a paid or volunteer public safety personel they should be immediately dismissed. It also could be some nut job pretending to be a fireman? If that's all they have to do on this day of Thanks, they are truly a lonely person.

I can not believe that anyone would say such a stupid statement. If he did I urge him to keep track of how things go for him in the next year and not ignore the fact that, what goes round comes round. There is a proper way to deal with discontentment of someone, this isn't it.
SFD may not respond to Joe's home but they would to his business. Gordo your the first person I'd look for if something happened to that building and/or anyone inside of it. I'd also bet you were the one responsible for that poor innocent deer that was left at Joe's. Bet you'd never be able to pass a lie detector test or breath one tonight.

Didn't Bill Gordy have a Hooters girlfriend out in Indianapolis, Indiana that he has be banging for a couple of years now? Wasn't her name Jocelyn or something like that? I heard he has been spending money on her for several years now. A low life piece of shit who would cheat on his wife with a Hooters Ho probably did make those comments about Joe like that.
