Unemployment Comes To Salisbury

There's a 20,106 square foot building going up in the Westwood Business Park here in Salisbury. It will be The eastern shore regional unemployment call center.

I thought I'd give everyone the heads up before each and every one of you find yourselves in line. That is, unless you work for a municipality.

This is the call center Shanie thinks is going to pay enough in salaries to their employees so they can buy those new houses being built on Jersey Road. I don't think Shanie ever stopped to think not everyone will want to live on Jersey Road. Come to think of it, when does Shanie stop to think about anything other than Mickey D's?

We already have an unemployment office here and you can no longer go there in person to file. Not many new jobs will be created by this either. Some, but not many.
