Telephone Bill Scam
PLEASE SUGGEST TO YOUR READERS TO CHECK THEIR PHONE BILL FOR A $7.95 CHARGE FOR "IR ASSIST SV TELESAVER" WHICH IS BEING CHARGED FOR A MONTHLY SERVICE THAT WAS NOT REQUESTED OR AUTHORIZED. REMEMBER WHEN THEY SWITCHED TELEPHONE CARRIERS WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE? LOOKS LIKE THEY'VE FOUND A NEW WAY TO RIP US OFF.Telephone Bill Scam

Thank YOU for posting the information. It was also on my bill. I would suggest EVERYONE look at there bill !! (it will be on a back page) the phone company said they did not bill it. That it could have been authorized by me over the computer. I assured them THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I told verizon they should know what this amount was for because I was paying them for it. I was told this was NOT TRUE. They were quick to offer giving it back though and suggested I call the 1-888-353-7287 to tell them it WAS NOT authorized and to stop it from coming off. I told verizon it should NOT have come off to begin with. They apologized etc etc. Just a side note: It was being billed to my verizon bill under my FAX # instead of my home phone number. I found that interesting.

Yes - check your phone bill before paying! We almost got duped. I don't know how these people got a hold of our info.
Also got it on my Verizon phone bill. Complained to Verizon, FCC and FTC (suggest all do the same to put this company out of business). You can also put a block on your phone bill to prevent any 3rd party charges from being added.
I noticed this on our company phone bill. It is attached to the number that is our fax line. The only way I can figure this happened is when I called a number to stop the junk faxes we kept receiving. I plan to report this to the FCC and FTC. Verizon did give us a credit for the charges, but they are on the new phone bill.
they scamed me for 3 months.how did they put this on verizon bill without your info verizon is on the take too it its on your bill your id has been stolen
i have filed a complaint with attorney general
i intend to sue because if they put it on your verizon bill your id was stolen by them or verizon illegally supplied it.
