Fifteenth Annual American Indian Fall Festival & Pau-Wau "Healing of All Nations" this weekend
The 15th Annual American Indian Fall Festival & Pau-Wau,hosted by the Accohannock Tribe is scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday at Bending Waters Park in Marion Station,Maryland.There will be drumming, dancing, singing,crafts & Famous Accohannock Seafood,as well as canoe rentals.Admission is a $4 donation but Boy and Girl Scouts in uniform are admitted free of charge,as are all children under 5.Bring a blanket or lawn chair and spend the day!No pets,drugs or alcohol are permitted in the park.There will also be some exciting news about the future of the park and Living Village on site.It is a wonderful local event that entertains and teaches and attracts visitors from all over.For more information and/or directions to the park,please visit the website http:// skipjack.net/le_shore/accohannock

If you get the chance, go to this! Pow Wows are very spiritual and very educational for both kids and adults. I try to always attend these events and haven't been dissappointed yet!
I have went to this event for the last two years and we always enjoy it!Our daughter likes the dancing and drumming especially!
