TO GOOD TO LEAVE SITTING IN THE BOX

I am under 45 years old,
I love the outdoors,
I hunt,
I am a Republican reformer,
I have taken on the Republican Party establishment,
I have many children,
I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor's office.

Did you guess?

Answer: [scroll down]

I am Teddy Roosevelt in 1900

TOO (as opposed to "to") good to leave sitting in the box

Palin is no Teddy Roosevelt, who, by the way, became president when the elected president died. It happens, folks, and that's why we cannot elect McCain (among many other reasons).

I think Roosevelt is overhyped, but I will say this; Roosevelt was a Rough Rider who had military experience and was Assistant Secretary to the Navy, not a small town mayor. He had more prior experience than Palin and Obama combined, which isn't saying much.

I am still having kids at just under 45 years old,

I love the outdoors, as do millions of others

I hunt, as do millions of others

I am a Republican reformer, with no foreign policy skills

I have taken on the Republican Party establishment, but have hid in Alaska for years

I have many children, and 1 kid is having a kid

I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor's office.

Did you guess?

I am Sarah Palin in 2008

Teddy Roosevelt was a friend of mine.

8:50-

fought against monopolies in the business sector

promoted the "square deal" to help business/labor disputes

he was a staunch conservationalist- he is the basis for the current national parks system

took over the panama canal project and got it on the road to completeion

first American to be awarded the Nobel Prize for negotiating the end to the Russo-Japanese War

built the Great White Fleet and sent it around the world to show our strength. this gave him the clout to negotiate treaties and settle disputes on a world stage (russo- japanese war and the division of morroco, both interventions helped avoid a larger war.)

he put Lincoln on the penny

he unintentionally gave us the Teddy Bear- the most popular toy in history (may not be important to you- but these bears have comforted countless frighted or sad children)

Yeah 8:50- over hyped is an understatement. let's take his face off of Mount Rushmore this instant.

I forgot: (from Wiki)

President Bill Clinton awarded Theodore Roosevelt the Medal of Honor posthumously for his charge up San Juan Hill.

Probably the only thing I respect Clinton for
