Stabbing In Salisbury
I'm told at around 10:30 PM last night there was a stabbing in Salisbury. I'll look around for more details but Salisbury is becoming a scary place to live!

cabbie got stabbed by thugs near n.division and the cemetary
Salisbury is in the top ten and thats just on the crimes they have reported. It would be interesting to know exactly how much crime there really is in Berrieville. Try to get a SPD officer to stop in traffic and report something- he will act like he does not hear you and get the hell out of there. I am speaking from what actually happened to me the SOB looked right at me and hauled ass just so he didn't have to actually do any thing. I guess he was in a hurry to get to the doughnut shop.
The event that might have been a home invasion last night was not in Mallard, but right outside it. At 11:30 last night our nearby neighborhood was crawling with police and search dogs going through yards and the woods. VERY scary. I was standing outside trying to see what was going on but the officials wouldn't say anything. I would hope if I was in any danger they would have told me to go back inside.
The stabbing took place on the 200 block of Brooklyn Ave. Two men were in a taxi and stabbed the driver. The driver was taken to the hospital. As of last night, the 2 suspects had not been found. This is horrible, because it is really a nice, quiet neighborhood and is very disturbing for the residents to know that these men are running around somewhere near their homes.
I heard on the scanner last night 9/28 there was 2 victims with multiple gun shot wounds somewhere around shumaker... I didnt' hear the entire call sorry.

Yep it happened near the mare's neighborhood or should I say HOOD!
Again I ask the question, is there anyplace in the city limits that someone would feel safe and proud to call home?

Joe, do you have a scanner? I do, and the number of calls for violent crimes has gone thru the roof over the last eight years. Very scary.

Salisbury is a CITY. They wanted to become a CITY and now they have the crime that goes along with it.
They should have just stayed a town.
