If you think that's bad, the Salisbury Police Chief did almost the exact same thing to one of his own Officers just recently, (two weeks ago) where the Officer had his Family, (wife and three children) in their home and a friend of one of the children spending the night on a sleep over.
The SPD, (5 Officers) and MD State Police showed up at their home in Somerset County, YES, Somerset County, pounded on his door at 3:00 AM, woke everyone up and served search warrants to search the entire home and property.
The charges were BULLSHIT, the Chief of the Salisbury Police Department is the same scumbag piece of sh!t as the other story you mention earlier and he KNEW his Officer had done nothing wrong. Hence finding absolutely NOTHING in their lengthy search on their home.
I could go into all the details but I'll save everyone the lengthy story. What I will tell you is, while he was at work earlier, they never once questioned him. Never asked if HE had anyone for an alibi and if they had, they would have learned instantly the charges were complete bullshit!
Nope, that's not how Chief Webster and Barrie Tilghman work. Now here's the kicker of it all. Do you think they went to the woman who falsely accused this Officer and charged her for false information? NOPE! They actually refused to do so when the Officer allegedly requested it.
So why do I have NO respect t for that piece of sh!t Webster? Because like I've said from day one, he sucks at what he does and he'll do anything to intimidate his Staff into respecting him. NOT ME! I think he SUCKS!
Bald headed man/grand jury/Annapolis/calls to Tilghman/perjury. Riddle me this Chiefy, who would have done such a thing? I've done more investigating on that case then you did on one of your own Officers. Chief Webster SUCKS at what he does.

which judge signed the warrant? was the imformation on the warrant request honest or lies, this could be cause for dismal as well as criminal charges brought against the chief of police.
The warrant was signed by a Worcester County Judge. The alleged crime happened in Wicomico County and he lives in Somerset County. There's good reason for it, no games on that. Wicomico County doesn't have that kind of udge available that time of night.
the s.p.d. has no authority what so ever in somerset county, at that point they are tresspassing on private property, regaurdless if they were with the state police or not. i would get a lawyer and sue them personaly and indiviualy.
That is way over stepping boundaries - whoever this happened to better get some legal advice quickly!!

Actually they can do that but they get assistance from MSP or the appropriate sheriff's office. They would have had to use a District Court judge in Worcester County. A circuit court judge can only sign a search warrant to be executed in the county in which he sits. I believe it still works that way.
Those poor children. Could you just imagine being woken up at 3:00 in the morning to several police officer pushing you out of the way. Shame, shame, shame on the police chief.

If you have an attorney that will comment: Could you articulate in a sentence, or two what Maryland's current stance on "knock-and-announce/no-knock warrants" is (4th Amendment implications?-I understand legislatures are being more understanding of direct entry without giving the chance for disposal of evidence or opportunity to reach a weapon prior to warrant execution these days....not breaking your onions; I am just genuinely curious about the current law in our state..I don't necessarily approve of (actually despise with every bone in my body)referring to our government as "Nazi America" (My mother in-laws' parents were holocaust survivors-My tattoo prior to marriage means I can not technically be buried alongside my jewish wife and children in a jewish cemetary-you see their WWII "tattoos" (brands) were not as warm and fuzzy as mine)...Wymzie has no grasp of true evil that can be shown towards fellow humans. I'll tell you what Adolph Hitler did to keep the police in check. He started conscripting Storm Troopers. They were an all volunteer Army that were sworn-in by his officiers. Most posted duties that revolved around their daily work schedules. I've thought about conscripting officiers and a paramilitary unit myself a few years ago when our group was being intimidated for performing a Referendum Drive.
In fact, I had approximately 300 volunteers that were ready to take to the streets at the signal of our command.
It can be done. We are still a democracy and the Constitution will endure as long as their are people to stand up to enforce the Consitutional Amendments. A well regulated militia - (doesn't have to police, National Guard, Army, etc.) Any thing that infringes on the constitutional bill of rights is adequate grounds to conscript a well regulated militia. Our group had several Veteran Officiers that were willing to assume a command.
My advise is to alert the Federal authorities first and send Emmisaries to advise the administration on the grounds for your actions. The Federal Government's main duty is to protect your Constitutional rights. They are more apt to protect your individual liberties as opposed to the individual States. Then, if something happens at least your are building a strong foundation for your case.
If we as Americans keep on letting our rights as a free people get compromised the next thing we will know is a society that just as well be NAZI. At some point we the people have to say enough is enough. Law abiding citizens being treated the way they are is a disgrace no matter how you look at it. Had a proper investigation been done in this case all of this could have been avoided. Given that you have a come here city jerk that is a spineless piece of sh-t running the show you cannot expect much better. I understand the element of surprise when serving a warrant but it seems to me our local police have been abusing this for quite sometime. The first person that should have to answer in this case is chief jack and coke.

In fact, from what he said, it appears he is not Jewish but his wife is. But what he said is not necessarily true. While tattoos are forbidden by Jewish law and the Torah (considered self-mutilation), one may still be buried in a Jewish ceremony and in a Jewish cemetery if the rules of that cemetery permit.
