Come downtown SBY and see who has a handicap parking permit parked at the meters all afternoon but is not handicapped. He is a great supporter of BUBBA and a slum lord!
This could be tricky. See, my mother has M.S., and to the average joe (not an Albero...) watching her park in a handicapped space, and then walk into a store, it might seem that she's not legitimately handicapped. However, she can't walk long distances-- especially in the heat. I'd hate to see her get one of these stickers slapped on her car, and I suspect that it could actually happen, but it would be way off base.
is there a fine if you park in a handicap spot? In NY all you have to do is send in the picture and the registered owner is fined! Do we have that here! I will gladly patrol!! The abusive behavior of those too lazy to walk an extra few feet...unbelivable!! They should be SO thankful that they ARE ABLE TO DO SO! We leave the handicapped spots if there is something close by! Can we do something? Or is there some place we can report tags too? I Always have a digital camera on hand from my NY days!! ;)
