Question of the Day, Sun 6/29

Today's question of the day brought to you by Sbynews reader hip.boots:

If you lived in the day of the "Boston Tea Party," would you have joined in,
risking life and limb . . . against wrongful taxation? Or would you gladly be paying $4.00 for your cup of tea?

Great Question.

It's time, don't you think, for a reenactment? Count me in, I always wanted to be involved in something that made history. This country has always been made great by the actions of people with oversized cojones. This country has been brought low by people with oversized wallets. Take it back!

As usual, Salisbury News readers reveal evidence of their very pedestrian views and very superficial understandings of American history.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

In reality this country has "been made great" by the common man and woman. The problem is that these individual's stories are rarely recorded or told.

You can call it a socialist view of history if you wish but it is true.

this country has gone to hell in a handbasket...we need change.....we need to take things back to years gone by...but keep todays technology.....and i don't mean obama's changes....that would be for the worst.....

Years gone by, yeah... Oh I totally agree, segregation, hell, slavery! No voting rights for women or African-Americans, no electricity in half of the County, dirt roads, high infant mortality rates, etc., etc., etc. Maybe you better think a little harder about that one, simpleton.
