I hope they can make a difference. Though I'm no fan of his. He flys all over the place on his private jets telling us how bad for the environment our trucks and SUV's are and how we shouldn't be driving them. No different than the rest of the leftist hypocrits.
sending in email asking for Waterkeepers to PLEASE check out the Wicomico. We need lots of emails sent ASAP--they're here in our area; it's the perfect time to be askin'
Reply from my e-mail to waterkeeper alliance to please take a look at this.
I want to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Waterkeeper Alliance is built on the belief that our waterways belong to the people who use them for drinking and recreation and not the industrial polluters who want to destroy them for the sake of profit. We embrace strong citizen enforcement of our nation’s environmental laws and we rely on concerned citizens like you to bring matters to our attention.
We typically don’t have all the resources we’d like to tackle all the issues we hear about, but your concern about the Wicomico wastewater treatment plant is very important and certainly something we will be taking the time to look into. Wastewater treatment plants require strict Clean Water Act permits. It’s these permits which enable you and us to collect discharge information and monitoring data and see if there are or have been illicit and harmful discharges. In short, permits are the strongest tool to allow citizens to protect their waterways from polluters. Thanks to the information you’ve provided, we will be requesting from the state of Maryland all records pertaining to the operation of this plant and reviewing them for possible legal action. In the meantime, any other information about the facility you could provide – newspaper clippings on recent spills, photographs of discharges, etc. – might prove useful.
I want to thank you again for standing up for clean water. With the many negative (and false) allegations being made against us in the local media, its inspiring to know that there are those on the Eastern Shore who share our concerns.
I got a reply and noticed email addressed that Scott Edwards copied on the reply. Maybe we should be filling all their email boxes with whatever information we have, collectively.

They're a bunch of loons. Very elitetist. Ignore them and they'll go away.
According to the DT, this was misinformation. The alliance apparently was a documentary film crew with "other" roots.
