Smokin Joe Frazier is in Delmar, Maryland right now till 4:00 PM today! The following photos clearly show this guy is still going strong and I have to tell you first hand, he's a real gentleman! I met Joe around 11:00 AM and got to spend an hour or so with him while we had a few laughs and got to hear some stories from the past. More importantly though were the hundreds of people waiting in line to meet this icon. The stories I heard were how much money one guy lost in High School betting on the fight to the memories of what people were doing at the time when he beat Mohamed Ali, it went on and on. He smiled at everyone and looked each person in the eye and shook hands with them all.
If you have the time, go visit the new Delmar Auto Mall across from the Saturn Dealership in Delmar, Maryland on Rt. 13 North. Believe me, drop everything you're doing and get up there right now. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'll have more on this story later.
OH, don't forget to bring a boxing glove or something for him to sign.

during the fight where ali went down, ali was tellin joe ,"im god, im god, joe said "well god came to the wrong place tonight" just befor the best left hook ever thrown, and put ali down. to alis credit he did bounce right back up.

I knew Joe when he started his band. Ask him about his gold flake cadillac. LOL
your a living legend joe, you have etched yourself into history, my childhood was filled with memories of your fights, matter of fact i think tyson coppied your style. we love ya joe, all the best from my family to yours.
joe, it sounds like you and joe have become good friends in the hour you spent with him. you sure have a way with people. perhaps one day you two can become pen pals...
