What a wonderful event for these special children! I wasn't able to attend the swimming event however I was able to attend the basketball event earlier in the year. I was amazed and thrilled for these kids and wish more members of the community had turned out to support this.
You should be there at Johnny Unitas Stadium when all the kids march in to the stadium. Have been there a couple of times when Cal Sr. was in charge of the event. I was a member of the honor guard that the kids had to pass through and what a feeling. And talk about a good person Cal Sr. came and thanked each and every member of the honor guard for being there. The look on the kids face made the trip worth while
The smile on that child's face....Priceless~!
